Vista Aircraft Maintenance is seeking to hire a Parts Clerk for our Part 145 Repair Station in Van Nuys, CA The Parts Clerk reports directly to the Parts Supervisor and plays a vital role ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our maintenance facility by managing aviation parts inventory. The ideal fit is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments with a focus on maintaining optimal stock levels, supporting weekend operations as needed, and collaborating closely with maintenance teams.
Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises an unrivalled fleet of light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. Vista Aircraft Maintenance has multiple maintenance hubs strategically located across the U.S. and Europe.
Parts Clerk Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving inspection of parts and materials to ensure conformity with FAA regulations and customer requirements
- Process core returns to vendors
- Ensure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements (Calibration, certification, shelf life, parts quarantine)
- Thoroughly inspect tools as issued out and back to technicians
- Perform regular inventory, cycle counts and maintain min/max requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department
- Flexible schedule as required to meet the demand of the business
- Pull parts from inventory requested by technicians
- Maintain inventory stock levels and notify materials coordinators of parts needing to be reordered
- Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1-2 years of experience with a willingness to learn
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Knowledge of corporate aircraft parts preferred. Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer is a plus
- Collaborative Skills/ Teamwork
- Strong computer skills including excel, word and outlook
