Vista Aircraft Maintenance is seeking to hire a Parts Clerk for our Part 145 Repair Station in Van Nuys, CA The Parts Clerk reports directly to the Parts Supervisor and plays a vital role ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our maintenance facility by managing aviation parts inventory. The ideal fit is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments with a focus on maintaining optimal stock levels, supporting weekend operations as needed, and collaborating closely with maintenance teams.

Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises an unrivalled fleet of light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. Vista Aircraft Maintenance has multiple maintenance hubs strategically located across the U.S. and Europe.  

Parts Clerk Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving inspection of parts and materials to ensure conformity with FAA regulations and customer requirements
• Process core returns to vendors
• Ensure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements (Calibration, certification, shelf life, parts quarantine)
• Thoroughly inspect tools as issued out and back to technicians
• Perform regular inventory, cycle counts and maintain min/max requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department
• Flexible schedule as required to meet the demand of the business
• Pull parts from inventory requested by technicians
• Maintain inventory stock levels and notify materials coordinators of parts needing to be reordered
• Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• 1-2 years of experience with a willingness to learn
• Problem Solving/Analysis
• Knowledge of corporate aircraft parts preferred. Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer is a plus
• Collaborative Skills/ Teamwork
• Strong computer skills including excel, word and outlook
