The A&P MX Technician is responsible for working as a collaborative member of a team tasked with accomplishing many different aspects of aircraft maintenance. A&P Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Citation, Gulfstream and Challenger aircraft.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
- Document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA and company procedures.
- Conduct operational and functional tests on aircraft systems to verify proper performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Travel may be required for maintenance support at various locations.
Required Education and Experience:
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Required).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with turbine aircraft (Preferred but not required).
- Previous experience working in a Part 145 repair station (Highly Preferred).
- Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
- A complete set of tools designed for or appropriate for aircraft miantenance.
- Implementation of a shadow box to minimize risk and FOD.
- Completion of all employment drug screening and background check.
