Vista Aircraft Maintenance is seeking to hire A&P Maintenance Technicians in Bay City, WI to join our 145 Repair Station. The A&P MX Technician is responsible for working as a collaborative member of a team tasked with accomplishing many different aspects of aircraft maintenance. A&P Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: 

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Citation, Gulfstream and Challenger aircraft.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
  • Document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA and company procedures.
  • Conduct operational and functional tests on aircraft systems to verify proper performance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Travel may be required for maintenance support at various locations. 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Required).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with turbine aircraft (Preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience working in a Part 145 repair station (Highly Preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • A complete set of tools designed for or appropriate for aircraft miantenance. 
  • Implementation of a shadow box to minimize risk and FOD.
  • Completion of all employment drug screening and background check.
