Overview

As People Communications Executive, you will support the delivery of engaging and inclusive internal and talent attraction communications that connect employees and candidates to the company’s mission, culture, and each other.

You will create compelling content, contribute to campaigns, and play a key role in amplifying employee voice and Vista's employer value proposition across channels, ensuring consistent, engaging messaging reaches the right audiences – from colleagues across global hubs to potential new hires. With a good grasp of internal communications and employer brand, this role supports everything from newsletters and leadership messaging to careers content, candidate campaigns and social posts. The role will also contribute actively to team planning and help refine messaging through testing and analytics. 

Based at our Columbus, OH office in Easton Town Center, this role will work on-site and from home on a hybrid basis. The role reports to our UK-based People Communications Manager. 

Responsibilities

Content Creation: 
Draft and edit global communications for internal and talent attraction purposes. Including announcements, newsletters, articles, and employee spotlights. Develop materials in various formats (video, email, blogs, etc.) Align all content with brand guidelines and tone of voice. 

Campaign Support: 
Assist in delivering communications plans for internal and talent attraction initiatives like company strategy, learning & development, onboarding, recognition, internal mobility and company values. 

Channel Management: 
Help maintain and update internal and talent attraction comms platforms (e.g. Runway (intranet), digital signage, newsletters, LinkedIn, job boards, careers site, social media ). 
Maintain and manage a content calendar across internal and talent attraction channels  

Engagement Support: 
Help amplify events and initiatives (e.g. town halls, milestone moments, company initiatives, recruitment events). Support candidate engagement through careers events and initiatives– both online and in person. 

Employee Voice: 
Gather stories and feedback from across teams to reflect the diverse experiences of employees and share with appropriate audiences 

Analytics & Insights: 
Track basic engagement metrics (open rates, click-throughs, sentiment, CTR, Applications, CPC) and suggest improvements to approaches or channels. 

Collaboration: 
Work closely with wider HR, Operations, Marketing teams to ensure aligned, consistent messaging. 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience with content creation via video 
  • An understanding of social media for talent attraction  
  • Eye for engaging storytelling and tone of voice 
  • Creative, proactive, and keen to learn 
  • Highly organised, aware of processes and with attention to detail 
  • Comfortable using or learning tools like Microsoft Office, Canva, iCIMS, Workvivo 
  • Curious about people, culture, and employer branding 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite / Premier Pro is advantageous but not required.
