Overview

The Vista Fleet, comprising of a vast range of aircraft types, has a growing presence in and around the world, and we are looking to recruit dedicated personnel to provide non-operational services and support to Vista aircraft and clients arriving and departing at Teterboro Airport.

 

This will include aircraft inventory management, fulfilling and administration of onboard stock requests, liaising with FBOs to ensure the smooth operation of ancillary aircraft services (laundry, dish washing, maintenance, hangarage, detailing) and effective communication with all service providers to ensure all services are completed in a timely manner. 

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the stock locker.
  • Ensure the Vista brand is always extremely well represented.
  • Be on hand to assist with the coordination of any ongoing services/requirements relating to Vista flights.
  • Assisting with customer concierge requests; ordering and collecting of special request items relating to customer preferences.
  • Management of inventory levels of onboard stock items including but not limited to
    - Issuing of stock (both physically & on the web platform);
    - Receiving and booking in of stock deliveries;
    - Preparation of emergency stock requests;
    - Cycle Counting;
    - Stock Taking;
    - Heavy Lifting (50lbs) may be required for certain duties
    - Liaise with crew on stock orders;
    - Liaise with purchasing on inventory levels / reorders/ stock write offs and expiration dates;
    - Liaise with suppliers as necessary;
    - Use of SAP/Zenventory software
    - Use of Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Assist in the logistics of goods from point to point.
  • Tracking purchasing activities and measurements.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in analysing and providing feedback on airport operations to monitor performance and plan improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Train Stores Coordinators on process & procedures while tracking progress to be reported to VP of Inflight Services.
  • Overseeing of day to day and ensuring Stores Coordinators are following & understanding protocol.
  • Specialty projects to be assigned by Head of US Stores. As follows, but not limited to the below
  • Assist with initial amenity setup of newly received aircraft onto certificate;
  • Outfit refurbished aircraft & work in tandem with the Cabin department on resources;
  • Liaison with vendors to oversee the measuring, production, & installation of aircraft drawer inserts.
  • Prepare & reset Managed Aircraft whenever Cabin Hostesses are not assigned.
  • Assist Head of US Stores with any other projects that arise from time to time.
  • This position can pay between $69,000 - $72,000 annually, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Secondary level of education.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written; other languages are considered an asset.
  • Detail oriented. Highly responsible and happy to work autonomously;
  • Strong planning, organizational and management skills. Excellent time management.
  • Creative thinking, resourcefulness, acting on your feet and good problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a fast pace environment.
  • Experience of SAP MM and/or Zenventory software considered an asset.
  • Team player, self-driven, someone who takes their own initiative and is enthusiastic.
  • Must have a valid driving licence.
