Overview

Reporting into the Credit Card Manager, the Credit Card Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, auditing all flight crew and corporate employee travel expenses, travel arrangements, aircraft fuel and reimbursement processes. Expense Report audits are done daily to ensure financial compliance to mitigate and minimize risks, look for opportunities to improve current business processes and report any findings to management.

Responsibilities

The credit card analyst will complete various tasks related to the general administration of the overall corporate card program. These include new user set up, card issuance, data reporting and analysis, department card spend administration and analysis, and past due follow-up correspondence. Employee training on card usage and expense system report submission will also be conducted by the credit card analyst. The credit card analyst may be asked to assist or lead implementations and projects related to the credit card program or policy from time to time.

 

  • Daily audit of crew and corporate travel expenses.
  • Develop strategic initiatives to maintain and improve the audit function as well as identify key risks and control indicators for assigned audit area(s).
  • Provide professional advice and training to all employees regarding expense process.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and standards.
  • Lead or assist in the absence of other credit card analysts all aspects of card program. management including: new user set up, card issuance, data reporting and analysis, department card spend administration and analysis, and past due follow-up correspondence.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree required (in the field of business, finance, accounting, management or marketing preferred).
  • Proficient in Excel. Excel skills to include formatting, pivot tables, V-lookups and ability to manage large datasets with functions (IF, SUM, MATCH, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP Concur and Oracle’s NetSuite, a plus.
  • Executive Assistant experience, a plus.
  • Familiarity with general accounting practices and understanding auditing principles and theories.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortability working in a collaborative environment.
