We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic web development team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing, with a strong focus on web applications and a solid understanding of API testing. • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Web Application Testing: Perform thorough testing of web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and compatibility across various browsers and devices.​
• API Testing: Utilize tools like Postman to conduct API testing, validating request/response payloads, headers, and status codes.​
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution.​
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand project goals and ensure high-quality deliverables.​
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.​
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of test plans, test cases, and test results.

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a focus on web application testing.
• API Testing: Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and experience using tools such as Postman.​
• Web Technologies: Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS,  JavaScript, and browser developer tools.​
• Testing Tools: Experience with test management tools like Qase and defect tracking systems such as Jira.
• Methodologies: Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.​
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.​
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.​
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.​

Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Performance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools and methodologies.​
• Automation Exposure: Basic understanding or experience with automation tools and frameworks.​
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL and experience in database testing.​
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms and integrating testing into CI/CD workflows.
