Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with agile software development experience to contribute to the evolution and optimization of Vista Global’s Flight Operations worldwide. This role is centered on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology supporting multiple Flight Operations teams, enabling high quality air mobility services.

Vista Global is building the future of private air travel so the world can experience aviation as it was meant to be. There was a time when we waited in long lines, removed our shoes, and shuffled through crowded security checkpoints. We settled for search engines, commoditization, and a plethora of apps. Meanwhile, thousands of private jets sat on runways and in hangars depreciating in value, and 40% of the private planes in the sky were flying empty. No-one stopped to ask if there wasn’t a better way.

Responsibilities

  • Align product development with business objectives and user needs.
  • Assist in defining and maintaining the Flight Ops product roadmap in collaboration with
    stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize features and enhancements.
  • Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate on features based internal and external stakeholder feedback.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear product requirements documentation,
including user stories, feature specifications, and workflows.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
  • Work within agile methodologies, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and
    retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and
operations to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Identify potential risks and blockers in product development and escalate them
    appropriately.
  • Work with QA teams to ensure product features meet functional and quality
expectations and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) before product launches.
Develop training materials and product documentation as needed.
  • Track product performance using key metrics and analytics and generate post-launch
reports and recommend improvements based on data insights.
  • Work with leadership to address resourcing constraints or technical challenges.
  • Travel to domestic and international locations as needed to support product
    management initiatives

This is a remote position, however strictly excluding candidates based in NY, NJ, IL, MA, CT and RI.
