Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Finance Manager to join our team. This key role will assist in the performance and supervision of the maintenance finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment of team members, subject to agreed criteria
  • Contribute to training and development of the team
  • Responsible for the day to day activities of your team to ensure accurate conduct at all times
  • Manage the preparation and agreement of individual action plans and targets for all team members
  • Meet your targets and those of the team on time and up to accurate specifications received
  • Responsible for the upkeep and optimization of maintenance software and all process linked to data recording within it
  • To assist with monitoring the financial performance of the maintenance function
  • To support with the preparation of forecasts for future years including budgets, balance sheets, and financial management reports
  • Verify the monthly reports presented by the team to Financial Accounting during month end closing
  • To assist in the reporting and presentation of actual versus budget presentations
  • Participate in the assessment of the long-term financial trends and review prospects for future cost cutting
  • Set an example for team members of commitment, financial activities, work ethics and habits and personal character
  • Communicate with all members of the organisation and its suppliers to facilitate day to day activities
  • From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role even where these fall outside of your own department/team

Team Responsibilities

  • Approval and coding of all maintenance and Insurance Invoices
  • Preparation of month end list of GRNed Purchase Orders and completed Workorders with estimates where applicable
  • Review of all Capitalizable costs including liaising with technical team and advising financial accounting
  • Management of Prepaid Invoices Balance Sheet Account
  • Regular adjustment of Inventory Account

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 10 years’ minimum experience in Finance Analyses and Reporting within Aviation
  • High level of Presentation and Communication Skills
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience managing a team
